Dry Creek Vineyards Cab Sauvignon ‘21

This classic Sonoma County Cabernet showcases Dry Creek Valley's ability to produce elegant expressions of the variety. The 2020 vintage offers aromas of blackcurrant, cedar and graphite that lead to a medium-full bodied palate of dark cherry, espresso and subtle herbal notes. Aged 18 months in French and American oak (40% new), the wine earned 91 points for its perfect balance between fruit expression and structure. The tannins are polished yet substantial, carrying the flavors to a long, food-friendly finish. Drinking beautifully now but capable of aging another 5-7 years, this is California Cabernet at its most approachable.
