This Bordeaux-style blend from Sonoma County showcases the winery's mastery of classic varieties. The 2020 vintage offers complex aromas of blackberry, violet and cigar box that unfold to layers of dark plum, espresso and subtle herbal notes on the palate. Aged 20 months in French oak (50% new), the wine earned 93 points for its perfect balance between power and elegance - the tannins are velvety yet structured, carrying the flavors to a long, spice-laden finish. Drinking beautifully now but capable of aging another decade, this is California blending at its finest. Decant 1 hour before serving with grilled meats or hearty stews.
