Frey Biodynamic Field Blend '22

A living testament to biodiversity, this co-fermented mix (Zinfandel/Carignan/Petite Sirah) from dry-farmed vines shows translucent ruby color. The nose bursts with wild strawberries macerated in rosemary oil, orange zest, and volcanic rock. Light on its feet (12.8% ABV) but profoundly complex, the palate offers pomegranate, hibiscus tea, and a saline finish. The Natural Wine Journal (94 pts) calls it "California’s answer to Cru Beaujolais." Chill slightly for duck confit (drink now–2026).
