Earning 90 points, this Bordeaux-style blend from Red Mountain showcases Washington State terroir. The 2021 vintage offers aromas of black cherry, pencil lead, and dried herbs. The medium-full bodied palate delivers flavors of cassis, dark chocolate, and tobacco, with firm but polished tannins. Aged 18 months in French oak (40% new), it shows excellent structure for mid-term aging. The finish lingers with notes of cedar and black tea. Pair with grilled flank steak, wild mushroom dishes, or aged Gouda.
