The 2021 vintage offers classic aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, and dried sage. The full-bodied palate delivers flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, and espresso, with firm but polished tannins that speak to its aging potential. Aged 18 months in French oak (35% new), it achieves wonderful balance between power and elegance. The finish shows appealing mineral and tobacco notes. Pair with prime rib or aged Gouda.
