Jérôme Galeyrand Bourgogne Chardonnay 'Orane' '22

The 2022 Jérôme Galeyrand Bourgogne Chardonnay "Orane" is made from 0.42 hectares of Chardonnay vines located in Brochon and Gilly-les-Citeaux, at the bottom of the slopes. The wine is produced using organic and biodynamic methods, with whole-cluster pressing and ambient yeast fermentation. It is aged for 12 months in barrels (0-20% new) and bottled with minimal sulfur. Named after Jérôme’s daughter, "Orane" showcases a mineral style with fuller, supple texture and well-integrated barrels, offering flavors of precision, traditional aromatics, and excellent structure. Pairs beautifully with foods such as stinky cheese, roast white meats, seafood, white sauces and fried dishes. The wine is a classic, with a traditional approach, and is highly recommended for its clean, mineral intensity and delicious finish.
