This cool-climate Albariño from the Kristy Vineyard (planted 1972) shimmers with a pale straw hue and green flecks. The nose is explosively aromatic - think Key lime zest, white peach, and crushed oyster shell, with a subtle waxy note from 6 months on lees. The palate is where it truly shines: razor-sharp acidity (TA 7.1 g/L) carries flavors of Meyer lemon, quince paste, and a stony minerality that Wine Spectator (95 pts) calls "reminiscent of Rías Baixas' best."
