Matchbook Petit Verdot '20

This rare varietal bottling presents opaque purple hues and brooding aromas of blueberry, graphite, and violet. The palate is dense yet polished - flavors of black cherry, licorice, and exotic spices unfold across velvety tannins (91 points). Aged 20 months in new French oak, it finishes with incredible persistence. Decant for braised short ribs or aged cheeses.
